My name is Helen and I am the editor of this site as well as a number of other wedding themed websites. Last year I ran a feature about boudoir photography on my wedding planning web site ‘the fizz’. I’d noticed a lot of chatter in the wedding business about this crazy idea of doing a boudoir photo shoot as a wedding day gift idea to present to your husband to be. There seemed to be a lot of interest in the idea but not much information about it? I decided to do something about this and created a listing of photographers specialising in this form of glamour portraiture.
What started as a simple listing quickly grew into a whole section of it’s own. A year later the subject seems to be just as popular and I notice more and more photographers are looking to expand into this area.
As it is, my wedding site just can’t accommodate the number of people wanting a listing and it seemed a good idea to start a dedicated website around the theme.
Listing
If you are a professional photographer who offers this kind of portraiture, and want to be listed, then please get in touch. You must specialise in boudoir photography or a similar field to be listed and, for a standard listing, you will be asked to provide a link back to this site from either your main site or blog which must be already well established. Featured listings are entirely editorial and there is a very strict criteria for inclusion.
If you would like to contribute to the usefulness of the site by writing an article or offering some reader advice then I will be happy to consider it for inclusion? Any articles published will be credited to the author who may include a one-way link to his/her business within the text.
Please don’t just tell me you want to be listed and nothing more; the photographers who get the most coverage are the ones who provide the most content – it’s that simple.

Paid Advertising Policy
Although I previously accepted paid advertising I have decided to fund the site by third-party advertising only. This gives everyone a fair chance of being listed and, hopefully, will discourage some of the poorer quality operators from hassling me.
All links on this site are, and have always been, within Google’s quality guidelines and any advertising which is paid for is clearly tagged with a ‘nofollow’ link.
I only list and feature photographers who I would be happy to personally endorse – no photographer pays to be listed. The only paid ads are the adverts in the left side bar, which are served dynamically by ** Google, and features by third party advertisers.
